Billing Resources

VEPMS invoices the hospital based on a Service Contract similar across the province. After expenses and overhead, fees will be distributed internally for Patient Care and some limited Administrative fees:

Administrative duties (e.g. medical leads, scheduler, teaching)

Lectures and rounds

Committee work

Short shift notice bonuses

As a not-for-profit entity, VEPMs distributes all remaining funds at the of the year proportionate to the amount worked, regardless of status as locum/(pre)-associate.
